Brookhaven game passes: what each one does

Brookhaven is free to play, and passes are how you make the town yours. A bigger house on a better plot. A faster car, or a boat out on the lake. A map theme that changes the whole server for everyone in it. Or the ability to set your own house on fire whenever the mood takes you.

Here's what each one unlocks.

What does each Brookhaven game pass do?

• Vehicle Upgrade. Raises the top speed of street vehicles and small vehicles. The cheapest pass in the game, and an easy first one.
• On Demand Fire. Lets you set your own house on fire whenever you feel like it, which gives the fire crew somewhere to be.
• Horse Upgrade. Adds more horse breeds, from small to large, and lets you customize the body, mane, tail and saddle. Horses get faster with it too.
• Penthouse. Unlocks the rooftop penthouse lot and its luxury apartment layouts.
• Music Unlocked. A large song library you can play through the Boombox tool, in your house, in your car, or anywhere else. Players near you hear it.
• Vehicle Speed Unlocked. The full speed pass. Much higher top speeds on street and small vehicles, plus turbo chargers at three stages for faster acceleration.
• Vehicle Boost Upgrade. A boost that takes you past your normal top speed, with flame effects behind you. The flame colors change if you also own Vehicle Customization.
• Premium. The broadest single pass. Premium houses, exclusive vehicles, the helicopter, the jet, house pools, most of the NPC companions, and a colored name in chat.
• Boat Pack. Speedboats, ships, yachts, rafts, and sharks.
• Theme Pack. Map-wide themes like Futuristic City, War Zone, Horse Trails and City on Fire. Everyone in the server sees the change, which is why it works in a private server.
• Vehicle Customization. Wraps, underglow colors, and fire, smoke and wheel-loss effects.
• Disaster Pass. Fire, flood, zombies, ghosts, aliens and more, set off at your house or apartment on your command.
• Land Unlocked. The rare lots: Lake House, Eagle View, Gold Ranch, Lake Side, Hidden Valley and Paradise Island.
• Estates Unlocked. The estate houses on the large North, South and Island lots. These are the plots that take mansions, hotels and parks.
• Vehicle Pack. A wide spread of extra vehicles across every category, including sports cars, themed trucks and roleplay favorites.
• VIP. The biggest bundle in the game: over a hundred exclusive houses, vehicles, tools, props, animations and avatar effects. It also gives you a VIP chat tag, a rainbow name, the VIP job badge, no house cooldown, extra props, and two vehicles at once in public servers.

Two other things cost Robux without being game passes. Extra house save slots are sold on their own, and private servers are a monthly subscription through Roblox rather than something you buy in the store.

I bought a pass and it isn't working

Work through these first, because they clear most cases:

1. Check you're signed in to the account that bought it. This is the usual answer, especially on a shared device or a console.
2. Fully close Brookhaven and reopen it. Not just back to the Roblox menu.
3. Log out of Roblox, log back in, and rejoin.

If it still isn't there after all three, the Discord server is where the team is.

Do I need a private server?

A private server is how you get the town to yourselves, and it's the best way to host. Yours to control, no strangers, and everyone sees your map theme.

You buy one through Roblox on Brookhaven's experience page and it renews monthly. Roblox shows the current price there.

What comes with it: prop saving across three slots, server-wide music and announcements, admin controls, kick and temp ban, weather and time control, server themes, no house cooldown, three vehicles at once, a higher prop limit, and freecam on PC.
