What to Do in Brookhaven: 8 Things Worth Trying

Brookhaven is an open-world waiting to be explored. Jump in with some friends and take a walk through town, see what each of the streets has to offer, and you will find something to do in no time at all. Here are eight of our favorites to get you started.

#1 Build your house

Using props you can customize your house. Go into Props Edit Mode and you can start moving, rotating, recoloring and customizing everything exactly how you like. Learn more in our houses guide.

#2 Adopt a pet

Head to the newest place in town - the Adoption Center! The recent update brought a variety of pets including cats, dogs and new props. Carry, pet and feed your new companions. Explore the pet hospital and nearby locations including the Post Office together! There are free pets available to every player in the game.

#3 Roleplay your favorite jobs

Whether you want to rescue players with the helicopter, work in the hospital, or even cook up your favorite jungle nuggets at Jett's, there are plenty of roles available for the keen citizen of Brookhaven.

#4 Play a family

A lot of Brookhaven play turns into a family one way or another. Somebody claims a house, somebody else shows up as the sibling who is late for everything. Pick a house with enough rooms, decide who is who, and start somewhere small. Whether its a day at the garage, a trip to the store, or a day at the Brookhaven school, things tend to build on their own once everyone is in character! Head online with your friends - and don't forget to adopt a pet along the way!

#5 Visit the new Bank

Check out the new Brookhaven bank, which was recently refreshed in a game update in August 2026. Roleplay with your friends in the new vault - with one of you posting up in the new Bank Manager's office! Explore tools including the credit cards, bank keycards, gold bags and all sorts of new tools. Wear the bank manager roleplay outfit to complete the look.

#6 Explore the town

There is more than meets the eye to the city of Brookhaven. Peek behind the curtains, find hidden rooms, and discover more about the lore behind the game. Maybe start on the upper floor of the hospital.. if you can reach it of course!

#7 Go out

When the sun sets, the fun is not done in Brookhaven. Club Brooks has been around since 2020 and it is still where people end up once the moon is out! Grab a seat at the cinema with your friends and visit the Arcade when you are finished. If you'd like something quieter, the Museum is the best place in town if you want to roleplay something different. The beach and the mountains are both a short drive away if you prefer an adventure!

#8 Start a private server

If you want to take your experience further, why not start a private server? They include a host of benefits for you and your friends to enjoy, including: the ability to change the weather and lighting, speed up time, increased prop limit, server-wide music and announcements, as well as Freecam for PC users!
