What Brookhaven scripts and hacks really do

A Roblox script is code written by an unknown party with the goal of exploiting a feature or system on Roblox games such as Brookhaven. It isn't allowed on Roblox and can lead to your account being compromised. Here's what these scripts can do, what can happen if you use them, and what to do if you've already used one.

What is a Brookhaven script?

They are code written by an unknown party, run through a separate program outside the game. Often promising impossible perks such as flying, free items, or unlocked game passes. These scripts are not official in any manner and we can't offer any support or guidance when it goes wrong.

Do Brookhaven scripts and hacks work?

If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is! While the scripts can sound appealing, they are rarely ever able to achieve anything except putting your Roblox account at the risk of a ban. Roblox's official guidance says "many exploits are scams to get you to download malware, such as a keylogger or other phishing program that can be used to steal personal information you have on your computer, including your Roblox password."

Are free Robux offers real?

According to the official Roblox source, and well known amongst players, is that "there is no such thing as free Robux or subscription offers, tricks, or codes". Any offer of these might sound good, but it is usually a scam to get your password, and once they have it, they gain access to your account, and everything on it. Only ever type your Roblox password on the official Roblox login page.

What does Roblox do about it?

Using scripts or exploits breaks the Roblox Terms of Use, and they say that violations will lead to the deletion of an account. We can't reverse a Roblox decision, so if you decide to use these programs, there is nothing we can do to get your account back on Brookhaven.

What should I do if I've already used a script or hack?

We advise taking the following steps:

• Remove any programs/scripts installed from your computer, and run an anti-virus scan
• Change your Roblox password and turn on two-step verification. Check which devices are signed in to see if any look unfamiliar.
• If Robux or items have already gone, account recovery sits with Roblox.‍
